A Cyclo mixer refers to two different types of devices: a bench top vortex mixer for rapidly mixing liquids in tubes and containers, and a high-shear powder mixer called the Cyclomix used in industrial processes for blending powders with liquids or melts. The vortex mixer uses a vibrating motion, while the Cyclomix uses a high-speed rotor and impeller in a conical vessel to generate high shear and impact forces for powder processing.
